Happy New Year!

We pray you are all havin' a wonderful New Year. This year, Nate & I are excited & resolved to read our bible through in a year together. We have gotten off to a great start & the Lord has been opening our eyes & blessing us through His word daily. Please join us! The one year bible blog is linked here on our blog & this has been a great tool & study guide in our readings so far (but we want to STRESS that this tool is not in place of actually reading the bible...there is no substitute for reading God's word & the bible blog stresses this as well). If you choose to join us, please let me know what you think! I am excited to begin our women's bible study at church. It begins this am & we are studying the book of Esther (a Beth Moore study). Also, another resolution, is that Nate & I are planning some upcoming summer vacations with family & friends.
Chloe can now write her entire name (including her middle name with some help), she can write the words AT, SAT, BAT, CAT, MAT, RAT, CAR, (all by herself) & many more! She is ready for bigger words, too! I think she may be reading much more on her own in a few months. Eliot can say SO many words now, his name being the newest, loves to read books, knows all the parts of a face (nose, eyes, ears, etc), is starting to draw more, & is just a bowl of energy & fun! Our kids amaze us & we are excited to see what this year will bring!

Just a cute photo of me & my kiddos (Eli has a mouth full of pancakes).

Makin' breakfast.

My only New Years photo (Gma Julie holding Eli, Aidan sitting next to Gma Julie, & Mary holding Chloe). We had the fam over for soup & salad & a game nite on New Years Eve (early nite since we have young ones) & then on New Years day we went over to Amy & Trevor's for a yummy homemade bagel breakfast & watched the Rose Parade (the bagels were awesome!) Then we went to my fam's for more Christmas fun (I forgot my camera for that part so no photos of that).
