Thanksgiving

We hosted thanksgiving in our home this year. It was a great way to break in our new home. We had 17 people for thanksgiving and it was a lot of fun!! Gpa Dan, Gma Julie, Great Gma Lois, & Great Uncle Don stayed with us for a few days. Gpa Tom, Gma Kris, Great Gma Marge, Uncle Gordon, Aunt Dianne, Cousins Hope & Hailey, Great Uncle Bob, Stew & Karen Wilson all came for thanksgiving dinner as well. We had great food and a nice time visiting with eachother. We are so blessed and are so thankful for the many blessings from our Lord. We hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving, as well.

A quick update on me: I am 13 weeks along now, and am just starting to feel a bit better. I still combat nausea now and then, but it is better than before. We have seen the newest Traxler on ultra-sound and have the photo of the baby on our fridge. I also got to hear the baby's heartbeat at my last doc app (I love that sound!!) So far all is well and we are both healthy. We hope to find out the gender on Jan 17th. We continually talk about the baby to Chloe. She is still a little young to grasp this, but we know she is going to make an excellent big sis.

Chloe is doing well with her glasses. She will wear them without complaint for most of the day and will even ask for them to be put on her and will complain when I don't put them on her fast enough. We are so proud of her. She is talking all the time and mimicks a lot. She can say just about any word, except she has not said her name yet. She will say please and thankyou without being prompted (it sounds like thease, an emphasis on the ease, and tanktou). Her favorite word, as well as thing to do, is outside (and she says this word very clearly & excitedly, in fact, Nate and I have to spell the word around her anymore). She had a great time with the thanksgiving festivities and continues to have a great time in the nursery at church on sundays and with her play group on tuesday mornings. Enjoy the following photos.

Chloe loves to "dress-up"...here she is wearing Gma Julie's sweater and slippers (her favorite dress-up item by far is any adult shoes...she calls shoes sues with an emphasis on the u...it is so cute to watch her walk around in them because she is so serious about it).

Chloe is being chased by Gpa Dan...oh what fun those two had!!

Here She Is!

As promised, our daughter in her glasses...she is doing really well wearing them. We just picked them up yesterday and she wore them for about five hours and only tried to take them off twice. I am so proud of her!! We got her two pairs of glasses, one purple set and one blue set (she is only sporting the blue pair here). They happen to be in the disney princess line of glasses and so the blue pair are called "Ariel" and the purple pair are called "Jasmine". Her glasses cases are little disney princess purses (a little over the top but pretty cute). Anyways, we pray this will correct her eyes, but only time will tell. In the meantime, she is just as cute as a bug in a rug so enjoy the many photos below (and I also made two other blog enteries this morning so be sure to continue to scroll down to see some more new photos.)

What a smarty!!
