Eli & I had a Mommy & Me swim class this week. He was cold & scared most of the time so he was not very enthusiastic about the class but we made it through. He did learn to blow some bubbles & kick & float (back & tummy) & he put his eyes in the water several times. Okay, I know, 'nough swim photos already!! I just can't help it...she learned so many new skills & had such a great time that I just had to share these last few photos. Chloe has swim class this week & next week. The first few days of class she was very afraid of the pool. But today was totally different. Not only did she get in the pool without showing her fear, but she also put her head under water...TWICE...and, at one point, was laughing & having a great time! Chloe got this super fun tent system from Papa Tom & Mama Kris for Christmas. Once we got it set up we looked at it and thought it looked just like a hamster cage with all its colorful tubes, etc. We had a great laugh! We attended our church's candlelight service on Christmas Eve. It was very beautiful. We really took the time, as a family, to worship Jesus & reflect upon the miracle of His birth. So, I cut Chloe's hair last nite. I was very nervous as this was her very 1st haircut in her entire life & I was not sure how it would turn out. Chloe's post-op app went really well. Doc confirmed no more glasses for the time being. He was very pleased with how straight her eyes are now. Eliot had his 2 month check up yesterday & he is doing great! He now weighs 13 lbs 4 oz (81%), & is 25 1/4" tall (98%...his doc had he is off the chart tall). He had his first set of shots & a brand new oral vaccine & only cried just a little. We were still able to go play at the water park & have fun after the app. I did better this time around with Eliot's shots than with Chloe's first set

Chloe has to wear a patch over her left eye for a few hours daily to help strengthen her right eye before the surgery. She will have the surgery on her right eye on Aug 31st. The doc is going to correct her strabismus to avoid amblyopia in the future. She has this ballerina slippers patch you see here in the above photo & she has a tulip patch, as well. She looks very cute in them!!

We took Chloe to another eye doc app today & the doc confirmed what we thought to be true; our baby girl needs surgery. After discussing our options with the doc, we agreed that she truly does need the surgery to correct her eye alignment. So, we are asking for lots of prayer. We have a few more apps with her eye doc & her pediatrician before the surgery. The surgery will most likely take

We celebrated my mom's 60th birthday on Saturday at Grt Gma Marge's house. Here is a photo of Grt Gma & the grandkids. Hope is the only one looking at the camera. It was hard to get all the kids in one general area with Grt Gma to get a shot of them all. Chloe is going through a stage where she does not like to have her picture taken at all (really shy) so I was glad just to get her sitting

What a happy boy! And sleeping 11 1/2 hrs at nite now...yippee!!My daughter is such a doll...I love to brag about my kids!
